Overview
Known as "Blue Monday", the third Monday in January has become widely labelled the saddest day of the year in recent years.
While the 2005 research behind the original claim is highly controversial, many experts agree that anything that opens up the conversation and raises awareness of mental health is a positive thing!
Mental health challenges may occur at any time of the year, however; shorter days, cold weather and Christmas debt may each be contributing factors of anxiety and depression in the winter months.
Join Scott Inside Out Natural Mentall Wellness and Lole Banff for some warm tea and conversation in a relaxed and informal setting.
Monday, January 21st
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Lole Banff, 221 Bear Street
The Agenda
Scott of Scott Inside Out will be sharing some of his strategies for staying balanced and healthy during the winter season. Much of this evening will consist of learning and sharing in pairs.
At this interactive FREE event you will come away with new tools to help lift your mood whenever you're:
- having a bad day;
- feeling mildly depressed;
- having a hard time getting out of bed.
Bring a friend and/or make a new one!
